ECO Styler curly cocktail

Salutations boys and girls!

I hope everyone is having a good hair day! I certainly am!

I recently took a trip to Kroger with my mom and took a stroll up the hair and makeup aisle.

Lately I've gotten into one of those modes where I've just been too exhausted to take care of my hair properly. Falling asleep without wrapping my hair, too busy to moisturize regularly-I'm ashamed. I knew that an intense hair-apy session was long overdue and I was looking for a product that could add some moisture and nutrients to my hair, something besides a leave in conditioner.

I did come across the Giovanni Peppermint Conditioner and something I had never seen before-EcoStyler Curly Cocktail. A new EcoStyler Product? What was this magic?! FROM WHAT REALM DID THIS APPEAR?!

If you haven't seen this Eco Styler product, it's a little different than the others from the Eco Styler Brand. It's not a gel, but more of a moisturizing cream, concocted of "superfruit complexes" and it's price point is a little more than usual-most full sized jars of Eco Styler gel will only set you back about 3 dollars but this baby was $7.99 at Kroger. (Luckily my mom has a way about her with coupons-she told me not to buy the jar I picked up because she had a stockpile at home in her closet!)

The next day I trimmed my ends, (They were so scraggly and raggedy...scraggedy, I guess) did a vinegar rinse and deep conditioned with the Giovanni's Peppermint conditioner (Bunny verified cruelty free!) and two egg whites. Then I styled my usual braid-out with the curly cocktail, regular Eco Styler crystal gel and tea tree oil to soothe my scalp.

Girl. Let. Me. Tell. You.

I did my braid out Monday night, let my hair set on Tuesday wore it out on Wednesday and here I am on Thursday with 2nd day hair that is weightless, moisturized and not frizzy at all. Usually when I take down my braid-outs the combo of chunky braids and separation leaves me with a decent amount of frizz by the second day-NOT THIS TIME.

Now it does say on the jar "for all hair types". I'm not certain how this product would perform on straight hair but I'm thinking a quarter sized amount could add some needed moisture. (For my waist length 4a hair, I needed an Empire State Building sized amount.)

So as long as they don't change the formula of this product, this will remain one of my staples. I am in love!

What new hair products are you loving? What do you do to bring your hair back to life after you've been a little neglectful?
