If you haven't heard by now, you gon learn today.
A few days ago, a former Ulta employee delivered some shocking news regarding Ulta stores and their returned or used makeup. She began a thread on Twitter that basically says that Ulta cleans up and repackages returned and used makeup and puts it back on the floor.
What's happening babes!
Isn't payday a beautiful thing? After my most recent one, I found myself wandering into Ulta, of course. In retrospect, it's probably better to go in there broke; I wound up dropping $45 (cringe) on some much needed skincare items.
On my way out, I noticed a display with several Wet N' Wild Cosmetics palettes. I was definitely surprised; off the top of my head I don't recall seeing any Wet N' Wild products inside an actual brick and mortar Ulta before, so of course I immediately died of curiosity.
After I came back to life, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the display was for the Wet N' Wild Megaglo Highlighting Palette! I've only ever seen it online so I was at once intrigued. I'm a huge fan of the Megaglo highlighter in the shade Precious Petals so this palette was basically love at first sight! I'm going to share my first impressions with you guys in case you're thinking of picking one up!
It's currently snowing and raining-sn...snaining? Rowing?-outside my window as I write this.
I was told to dress up a little more than usual for work tomorrow for a client visit and I'm at a loss. Too cold for heels, too cold for dresses, just...too cold. Dressing up in the cold is the worst. Winter makeup on the other hand, can sometimes be fun!
I finally put away my NYX Ultimate Brights Palette (for now) and opted for something a little more season appropriate. I'll show you the look I came up with here in a minute but first I want to talk about the BH Cosmetics Galaxy Chic Palette.
