I myself don't wear full makeup...like ever. If i'm being completely honest, applying concealer and foundation and then cream contour and setting spray...whew. It's WAY too much, it takes too long and it feels uncomfortable on my face. And since I don't wear a lot of makeup, when I do, it tends to break me out.
I do wish my skin looked as flawless as those who do wear a full face-it looks so smooth and airbrushed, no marks or imperfections. It's probably impossible to achieve that airbrushed effect without loads of foundation and etc.-but there's no reason I can't improve on my natural look.
During the month of November I'm going to try and do a total skin makeover on myself by introducing a few new products and sticking to a routine. (Sticking to a routine. Sticking to a routine. If I say it enough times, maybe it'll happen.)
Hopefully at the end of November, I'll see a major difference in the way that my skin looks!
Here's the plan:
I love the results I get, so I'm gonna up the frequency to every Saturday-probably going to do this while I deep condition my hair for a super-luxe spa experience!
Combining these elements with my regular exfoliating and my power brush should hopefully see my skin do a complete 180-just in time for all those holiday photo ops! I'm talking, clear glowy skin with faded blemishes! At the end of the month I'll post before and after pictures. (Actually since we're already a week into November, it'll be more like the first week of December but you know what I mean.)
I encourage you guys to try it too! If you prefer other products, swap out whatever I listed and make this challenge your own. What are your skincare staples?
